I just got my hands on a Palm Pre...very impressive device. Much as I liked the iphone I always thought it too big and the limitation of only being able to run one app at a time was the killer for me. The pre however is a very slick device running multiple apps and it fits very nicely into your hand and is very intuitive to use. Lots of thought has gone into this.
I've had smart phones before and I have always given up on them for either being clunky, too big, slow etc so lets see how it fairs in action over the next few weeks.

Update
Its been a month since I've posted an update...I didn't realise how time flies.
Anyway on the CRM Together front we did another webinar and it was a great success and the attendance was very high so many thanks to all who made it. If you did not make it we'll be posting a recording of the webinar online next week.
The Files Together site and product updates continue and we hope to have that done by the end of October..plus we will be offering hosting of Files Together. More details to come later.

Files Together Updates
We're in the process of updating the Files Together web site (www.filestogether.com) and also the software. We'll now have 2 flavours of the software...one will look the same as the old version (accessing data only on the same server) but will have a mega number of updates (inc security, plugins etc) and the other will be API based.
The API based version will allow FT be used as a cloud storage proxy device allowing files to be stored on FTP servers, databases, Google Docs, Amazon...(or any storage system) and accessed via an interface (web-based, desktop based, mobile based or any that can be coded). More details to follow as we get the releases out there.

New Titan and Accelerator Releases for Sage CRM
A new minor release of Titan and Accelerator is now available for Sage CRM 6.2 at www.crmtogether.com. The updates are fixes to the installation (the correct application pool is set, a change in Sage CRM 6.2) and the correct .net framework (2.0) is set (these can be set manually in IIS).
In the Titan portal demo we removed the "Newsletter" link due to the bug introduced in sage CRM 6.2 (see our previous post on this below).

Free Rostering anyone?
We're involved in a small product called Rota365. The site (www.rota365.com) is just live and the beta version is available for free. You just need to register on the site to get the download link.
The software is used to create work rosters/schedules and the idea is to save your company money by helping create rosters intuitively and be able to see the cost as you go.
Its still a little buggy and there is a bit of work to do as it has not quite hit our expectations in terms of feel and flow. The idea of the free beta release is two fold in that its a marketing exercise and also we get to see what users love/hate about the software. Thats the trade off for it being free.
Anyway if you know anyone that might use this software please let them know about it.
