Sage CRM Accelerator

Okay my company just released a new cool product called "Sage CRM Accelerator". Its a toolbar for Sage's web based CRM system. It allows you to do cool stuff like bookmark entites, view your system history, desktop email, mailmerge etc. We also have a really nice and simple feature called "tweets". Kinda like the twitter idea but content sensitive within the application. We have a cool video on our sage site (www.crmtogether.com) that runs through the features.
So if you have Sage CRM you need this. Actually its FREE with the quick search feature enabled and the rest of the features are licensed. Anyway please get in touch if you would like a demo and more details.

Innovation != Google

You know I'm kinda sick of hearing all the hype and buzz about google (of course here I am blogging on google...the irony does not escape me). Googlites have often accused Microsoft of lacking innovation and copying everyone (esp apple) yet in 2008 alone, google have released a browser and a phone. hmmmm....what other company has done this recently? Does the whole world just look to apple for ideas? Can't they smoke their own wacky tobacco in the Googledom.
And even when they come out with the next browser..what do they do? They release a browser that does exactly what every other browser does. Whats new about it? Maybe it is faster. Don't get me wrong that is a good thing. However did they push a new open platform for developing web based (not web html rendering..thats not the future) applications? No they didn't. now maybe they are planning on embedding gears and somehow doing this. We'll wait and see. Java though...yuck! Personnaly I think that at this stage we should be able to develop windows forms applications that can run on the client and get sandboxed (so protecting the user pc). Anyway, whatever....MS are you listening?!
As for the phone Android. An open source phone. You know I just don't see it being an iphone killer let alone threatening nokia. People generally won't (imo) download an app that joe blogs wrote and have it crash their phone. Like widgets on facebook/bebo/myspace etc are all well and fine...if it breaks its not the end of the world but people will not tolerate their mobile phones going on the blink. As for serving adverts on the phone...you got to be kidding.
Okay got that off my chest...whew...
